Matrix Up-Intermediate Test

The Jazz/Grammar Chants series is an excellent supplement for virtually any ESL class. In Jazz chants, intonation and stylistics are presented along with vocabulary and other points. Grammar Chants gives the teacher the opportunity to present the student with a given grammar point and have him internalize it painlessly. Grammar chants are useful for beginners and intermediate-level ESL learners. Don't expect to teach advanced topics with these texts.

Neither of these books, in my opinion, would be appropriate as basic course texts, but as supplementary material they are invaluable!
